Sports Medicine

Kamiakin Braves Sports Medicine is committed to providing high quality healthcare to all student athletes. Athletic trainers are highly qualified, multi-skilled health care professionals specifically trained in the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of medical conditions and emergent, acute, and chronic injuries.
About your athletic trainer:
Ciara “CJ” Ashworth has been the athletic trainer at
Kamiakin High School since 2015. She came to Tri-Cities after graduating
from Whitworth University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training and
Kinesiology. In addition to being the athletic trainer, CJ also teaches
career and technical education health science courses. The athletic allies are
students from the health science program that are interested in pursuing a
career in health care. They support Kamiakin student athletes during practice
and competition.
